YOUR CREDIT UNION
Forest Kraft is owned and operated by its members. Forest Kraft's members are all united by the common bond of employment by one of our sponsoring employer groups. You can become a member/owner of the credit union by depositing $5.00 in a Share Savings Account and paying a one time membership fee of $1.00. Forest Kraft generates income by investing our members' share deposits in loans to our members at low interest rates. Because we are a nonprofit financial institution, any profits made are paid back to you, our member/owner in the form of dividends. As a member/owner, you also have a voice in the operation of your credit union. Our primary purpose is to work with each member/owner to help each meet his or her financial goals. We work to promote savings, and offer loans to members at reasonable interest rates. Your credit union is a member of the National Credit Union Administration, and your savings are federally insured to $100,000.
